ON THE DAY ENTRIES – Entry Form and Rider Declaration Form Sir William Hill Climb 2016

Parking is extremely limited, so please follow parking instructions below and please park considerately. And if you can, why not catch the train? Grindleford station is only a 10-minute ride from the start of the Hill Climb, and this way you can enjoy a pint after the climb, too.

On arrival please register a soon as possible in the Sir William Pub. If you registered online you will still need to complete our disclaimer form. Riders registering on the day will need to complete the registration and disclaimer form.

And don’t forget to bring some money for our mini festival! Our cool event T-shirts adults and children’s sizes will be on sale and don’t forget the BBQ and beer!

Our exhibitors:

High Peak Cycles: Showcasing their kids and adult bikes. They will bring some spare helmets, tubes, lube and energy food, and can also help with basic repairs if you have a bike crisis! (Cash and cheques only though)

Activ Physiotherapy: Have a chat about bike fitting and get your aches and pains sorted for free!

Wosskow Brown: Not doing the race? Have a competition on the static Watt Bikes at the pub!

Parking is extremely limited this year, due to our playing fields still recovering from an event earlier on in the year. So this year, please do try to come by train if you can. There is usually a 5.14pm and a 6.14pm service from Sheffield, and hourly services from Manchester direction – but do check times before you travel.

If you plan to drive, please park considerately, making sure you don’t block access points, pavements, or other vehicles. Please park along the left hand side of Grindleford station road here (please do not use the Station Café parking area on the right) or there is limited parking on the road in the village, and in the Sir William Hotel car park itself. If you come later, these are likely to be full already. Marshalls will be there to help you.
